I’ve been experimenting with this recipe for a while and finally found the right combination of ingredients for the perfect thickness and taste. This recipe is packed with protein but still tastes like a fruit smoothie. It’s thick enough to eat with a spoon and enjoy with granola and fruit on top.
Açaí Protein Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients
1 açaí smoothie packet (Substitute with 1 T açaí powder + ½ cup extra frozen berries)
½ frozen banana
½ heaping cup frozen blackberries
½ cup fresh strawberries
½ cup coconut milk
2 T p2b powder/peanut butter/almond butter
1 T chia seeds
2 T vanilla whey protein powder
1 T golden flax seed (optional)
½ t wheat grass powder (optional)
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together in a blender (I start with the liquid/softer ingredients)
- Top with granola and fresh berries, cacao nibs, coconut, honey or whatever else you want!
