This protein shake has been my go-to post-workout meal for the past couple weeks. I get extremely tired of the same chocolate shake everyday, so I like to mix it up and try to load as many macros into one simple drink so I’m not sitting there eating a huge meal right after I workout.
This shake is well-balanced even if you aren’t counting macros and makes for a delicious snack or replacement meal. If you want to learn about counting macros, or learn what on earth I’m talking about, check out this post.
Orange-Vanilla Protein Shake
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup frozen mango
- 1/2 cup frozen peaches
- 1/4 cup pineapple
- 2-3 baby carrots
- 1/4 banana
- 1 T. honey
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 scoop vanilla protein
Directions
- Mix all ingredients into a blender and enjoy! If you want a thicker consistency, use frozen pineapple and/or frozen banana slices (I like to slice up bananas when they’re getting a little too ripe for my taste buds and throw them on a cookie sheet in the freezer)
